DESCRIPTION MAURTEN GEL 100 CAF 100

Hydrogel based energy gel made of calcium, electrolytes and carbohydrates. A ready-to-eat portion of GEL 100 (kcal) CAF 100 (mg) contains 25 g of carbohydrates. Maurten GEL 100 CAF 100 is not a syrup, but a biopolymer matrix that encapsulates salts, carbohydrates, water and caffeine. For use before, during or after sports.

The caffeine content is very high compared to most traditional gels on the market. It also provides 25 grams of carbohydrates in a unique blend of fructose and glucose (0.8: 1 ratio) that allows up to 100 grams of carbohydrates per hour.

The gel is characterized by a high energy-weight ratio and contains no added flavors, preservatives or colorants. And are also suitable for vegans.

APPLICATION
Use the GEL 100 CAF 100 alone for shorter periods or combine it with other Maurten products to provide enough energy throughout your activity.

Why caffeine?
Caffeine has been shown to increase awareness and reduce the perceived stress. These properties can be beneficial for athletic performance.

Amount of carbohydrates
It is known that our body can use about 60 grams of carbohydrates consumed per hour in the form of glucose or maltodextrin (glucose polymer). The use of a 0.5: 1 combination of fructose and glucose / maltodextrin enables an intake of up to 90 grams per hour. Recent studies have shown that an increased fructose content of more than 0.5: 1 enables an even higher intake. The GEL 100 CAF 100 is based on a fructose-glucose ratio of 0.8: 1. One serving contains 25 grams of carbohydrates.

Neutral im Geschmack und eine richtige Ladung Koffein pro Gel. Speziell ist die Konsistenz, ich würde empfehlen den Gel im Training zu testen.
