Epic Pump contains one of the most potent precursors of Nitric Oxide (NO) in an unparalleled dosage of 8,000 mg (per serving).
L-Citrulline Malate is an extremely popular NO substrate known for increasing arginine levels and NO synthesis.1 This effect even exceeds that of arginine, the mother of all NO substrates.
Speaking of arginine: Epic Pump naturally also contains the sole precursor of Nitric Oxide. If you take a look at the extraordinary composition, you will discover 8,000 mg of arginine, which is available in highly bioavailable AKG form (6,000 mg per serving) as well as in potent nitrate form (2,000 mg per serving).
The concentrated nitric oxide power is optimally complemented by a beetroot extract that is rich in nitrates. In sports nutrition, this is regularly associated with nitric oxide synthesis. Epic Pump is rounded off by a whopping 4,000 mg of taurine, which is a performance amino acid that is indispensable in energy drinks!
Note: A possible clumping / hardening of the powder is due to the composition of the highly dosed ingredients and is not a sign of inferior quality, shortened or expired shelf life.
It does not affect the solubility, effect or shelf life of the supplement and unfortunately cannot be avoided with such a high dosage of the ingredients.
The reason for the clumping of the powder is the following:
Hygroscopy (the ability of the ingredients used to bind humidity or water vapour from the environment) has resulted in moisture in the packaging, which leads to clumping or hardening. Typical individual ingredients responsible for this are, for example, citrulline malate and individual forms of arginine.
In the event that hardenings have formed, we recommend crushing in a mortar or other suitable crushing forms in order to restore the powder to its original state.
Recommended dosage Drink approximately 30 minutes before your workout a serving consisting of 25 g of powder (approx. 3 scoops) and 500 ml of water. For maximum results, we recommend taking on an empty stomach.
