Description Pure Encapsulations Iron Complex

Iron is involved in the formation of haemoglobin (red blood pigment) and is therefore important for the transport of oxygen. Iron alone can sometimes be too little, because co-factors are important for effective iron metabolism. Pure Encapsulations Iron Complex contains iron as a chelate complex, iron glycinate. This gentle iron compound is particularly well tolerated and protects the trace element from binding to other food components such as phytates. The co-factors vitamin B2, B6, B12 and folate contribute to normal energy metabolism and thus support the trace element iron. Vitamin C supports the absorption of iron from food and vitamin A supports normal iron metabolism. Copper is also involved in energy metabolism and also supports iron transport in the body.
